Founded in 2015, Shilda Winery builds upon Georgia’s deep-rooted winemaking heritage, which spans thousands of years. Located in the village of Shilda in the Kakheti region, the winery is equipped with state-of-the-art Italian and French energy-efficient technologies.

Shilda’s mission is to preserve Georgia’s ancient winemaking traditions while enhancing and reimagining them through innovation and fresh ideas. The winery’s team, primarily composed of dedicated local talent, works tirelessly to produce exceptional wines, cognac, and chacha of the highest quality.

Kakabadze is a distinguished brand within our winery, crafted from ancient grape varieties that reflect Georgia’s rich winemaking heritage. The unique bottle labels are inspired by the stunning landscapes of Imereti, as depicted by renowned Georgian artist David Kakabadze. Shilda Winery has obtained exclusive rights to feature the artist’s paintings on our labels, through the agreement with his family.

This fusion of tradition and creativity makes Kakabadze wines a celebration of two of Georgia’s most cherished cultural elements: winemaking and art.

One of Shilda’s esteemed brands is Rustaveli, which features wines crafted from unique Georgian grape varieties, as well as family reserve cognacs that have been aged for many years.

Notable vintages within the Rustaveli line include a 50-year-old X.O. cognac, a limited-edition Saperavi, Kvevri Saperavi, and rare varieties such as Tsolikauri, Krakhuna, and Chardonnay. These exceptional wines and cognacs are produced in limited quantities, highlighting the uniqueness and rarity of these grape varieties in Georgia.

Kirke is a distinguished label within the prestigious Shilda Winery, offering an exceptional selection of four premium products: Otskhanuri Sapere, Saperavi, Goddess Blend, and Pure Vodka.

Kirke represents a refined approach to winemaking, focusing on the delicate balance between elegance and a deep respect for the grape’s natural character. As a premium “night vintage” wine, Kirke sets itself apart through the meticulous selection of grapes harvested under the cover of night. This careful process preserves the aromatic complexity and inherent quality of the grapes, resulting in a truly exceptional product.
