The 85th anniversary event of Tristan Sikharulidze, an outstanding master of Georgian folk singing and choirmaster, was held in the hall of the Rustaveli National Theater. The event was organized by the Folklore State Center of Georgia.

At the event, Vano Chkhartishvili – the founder of “Smart Capital Group” and “Georgian Chanting Foundation” handed over a special award – “Bird of Gratitude” to Tristan Sikharulidze for his exceptional contribution to the restoration and popularization of Gurian traditional singing.
