In Ozurgeti, the national holyday “Alegroba” was marked. Along with official figures, the founder of “Smart Capital Group” and “Georgian Chanting Foundation”, businessman – Ivane Chkhartishvili and his spouse – Nana Gotua attended the event. The event hosted various educational, entertainment and sports activities. The guests had the opportunity to get familiarized and have a taste of the traditional Gurian dishes and see the handicrafts presented by local entrepreneurs at the exhibition.

At the event, honorary citizens were awarded with special nominations by Ozurgeti Municipality Mayor, Avtandil Talakvadze. Mrs. Nana Gotua was awarded with the title of honorary citizen for her special contribution to the popularization of Georgian traditional chants and folk songs, as well as for contributing to the charity and culture fields. Ivane Chkhartishvili established a special reward for the honorary citizens of the city. The celebration was concluded with a gala concert.
